Aspro is modern style free responsive WordPress theme. Aspro can be used for photography, fashion, news, music, entertainment, personal blog sites and almost any kind of sites. It is SEO friendly with featured image supports and custom colors. Theme customizer can be used to change color, upload logo and other theme settings.

Theme Installation

Installing a theme through WordPress is quite easy

Upload the theme file

  • Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress Dashboard
  • Click on the Add New button
  • Click on the Upload Theme button
  • Click Browse and select current version of aspro.zip in your computer or you can download from this link Aspro – Free WordPress Theme and upload it.
  • Click Install Now
  • After theme installed successfully you can activate theme by clicking Activate on link as appear in your screen.

Activate Theme Manually

  • Go to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress Dashboard
  • Hover over the theme thumbnail and press the Activate button

Site Identity

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
  • Upload logo for your website.
  • As well as edit your Site Title and Tagline.
  • Also Upload favicon for your website.

Colors

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Colors.
  • Select Suitable background color.

Header Image

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Header Image.
  • Click “Add new image” to upload an image file from your computer. Your theme works
    best with an image with a header size of 1000 × 250 pixels — you’ll be able to crop
    your image once you upload it for a perfect fit.

Background Image

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Background Image.
  • Upload Suitable background Image.

Homepage Settings

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings.
  • You can choose what’s displayed on the homepage of your site. It can be posts in reverse chronological order (classic blog), or a fixed/static page. To set a static homepage, you first need to create two Pages. One will become the homepage, and the other will be where your posts are displayed.
  • Select your homepage displays.

Additional CSS

Slider Widget

  • Go to Appearance > Widgets.
  • Add Aspro: Slider Widget to Blog Page Widget Block.
  • Select Suitable Category to show post on the slider.
  • And Slider will be displayed in the blog page.

Homepage or Blog page Setup

  • Go to Dashboard > Pages > Add New.
  • Create a Page (for your home page or Blog Page).
  • Enter the Title (e.g. ‘Home or Blog’) and and assign the page with ‘Blog Page’ Template.
  • Click on ‘Publish’ button.

Blog pages show at most (Post limit)

  • Go to Dashboard > Settings
  • Click on Reading
  • Enter the number (e.g. ‘5 or 6 or as per your needs.’) to show the post in the homepage and all default pages.
  • Click on ‘Save Changes’ button.
